After years of working around interiors, we have noticed that ceilings are often designed according to the room they are in, but rarely according to what that room is expected to make people feel.
A bedroom needs calm. An office needs focus. A restaurant needs atmosphere. A retail store needs movement. Yet traditionally, the same ceiling solution finds its way into all of them.
That is where stretch ceiling applications become interesting.
A matte stretch ceiling in a bedroom can soften reflected light and create a quieter visual environment. In a compact apartment, a glossy finish can reflect light and surroundings, making the room feel more open than its actual dimensions suggest.
In workspaces, backlit and illuminated stretch ceilings can turn the ceiling itself into a source of comfortable, evenly distributed light. Instead of treating lighting as a collection of fixtures, the ceiling becomes part of the lighting architecture.
